COVID-19 Recovery

Dear Valued Patient,

We wanted to take this time to reach out to you to inform you as to how we are keeping our patients and staff safe during the Covid-19 recovery.

With the recommendations from the American Dental Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we at Bear Brook Commons Dental Group have taken a number of steps in addition to our standard rigorous infection control measures to ensure our office remains a safe place for you to confidently receive care.

Masks and Hand Sanitizer

All staff members have N-95 medical masks to best ensure their safety and the safety of our patients, as to provide maximum protection for all procedures.

A mask or face covering is required to be worn while in our office by all patients and visitors who are medically able to wear a mask.

Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance and at numerous locations throughout the office. Everyone is asked to sanitize their hands when they enter the office. In addition, each member of our health care staff sanitizes their hands before and after each patient encounter.

Screening for COVID-19 Symptoms

We screen all patients and visitors for COVID-19 symptoms. When patients arrive for their  appointment, their temperature is checked and they are asked about any cough, fever, and other symptoms of respiratory virus infection that they may be experiencing.  Staff are also screened for COVID-19 symptoms each day.

Cleaning, Reorganization, and Check-In

Common areas such as the waiting room, are cleaned often with special attention to frequently touched surfaces including doorknobs, armrests, and chairs.

Exam rooms are fully cleaned and disinfected between each patient.  At the end of each day a cleaning service disinfects the entire office.

We have made special arrangements to support social distancing. We have rearranged furniture in the waiting area to create more space between patients, and are scheduling appointments to ensure that fewer people are in our office at any given time.

Upon arrival patients are asked to call the office from their car, they are then instructed as to when to enter the office.

If you have any further questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please don’t hesitate to give our office a call at 732-591-8555.
